Over the last 15+ years Ben has trained entrepreneurs, senior managers and leaders of major corporations. Clients he has trained include Permira, ECI, Microsoft, Worldpay, AXA and the FCA as well as many private equity firms. Previously Ben was a corporate financier following senior roles at Pearson, Cable and Wireless and the BBC. He is a regular speaker at financial conferences including Super Return and GAIM.
Paul Farrow is an expert trainer and PR advisor with over 30 years experience. He advises a wide range of companies, focusing on financial services. These include training for challenger banks Tesco Bank and Paragon Group, private equity firms Actis and HarbourVest, hedge fund Man Group, and banks RBS, HSBC and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. His work spans companies as different as L’Oreal, Singapore Airlines, Cambridge Nanosystems and Tetrapak.
Paul’s background combines PR (Paul Farrow was MD, Financial Services at Fishburn), financial journalism (Deputy Editor at IFR magazine) and investment banking (Swiss Bank Corp, FG Inversiones Bursatiles and Ahorro Corporacion). He speaks fluent Spanish.
Jane Renton is an experienced media and presentation trainer. She has worked with many international blue chip companies, to train those in the public eye, including senior executives at Swiss Re, BNP Paribas, PwC, Absolut Vodka and CSC. She was a presenter of The Money Programme, BBC2’s economic and business current affairs flagship.
She has also written extensively for national newspapers, including The Sunday Times and Observer, where she was a senior staff writer for seven years. Jane is also the author of the best-selling Economist book, Coaching and Mentoring.
Steve has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate and financial public relations. He was a founding partner of the strategic comms division of FTI and until recently was head of comms and IR at Breedon Group plc, the UK’s largest quoted independent construction materials group.
He has advised companies in a wide range of industry sectors, working on innumerable IPOs, fundraisings, M&A assignments and media relations campaigns. Recent clients include Old Mutual, Fajr Capital, Washtec AG and Centrus.
James is an experienced Fund advisor. His experience as an investor means he’s evaluated over 1000 fund and company presentations. Recent clients he has supported including Wainbridge, ID Invest, TPRE, MENA IF and European Capital. Previously he was a Director of fund-of-funds Auriga, a credit analyst for Sal Oppenheim & Cie, brand manager for Seagram, and M&A for Downer & Co. He’s a graduate of Wharton and speaks English, French, German and Spanish.

David is one of our top financial presentation experts. He began his career as a fund manager at Merrill Lynch Asset Management.
Clients he has trained include Reuters, ECI, IDInvest, HSBC, UK Finance, Goldman Sachs, Kone, Legal and General, Bank of America, Slaughter and May, Penguin Random House, Credit Agricole and EY. David is also an award-winning film maker.
Colette is an experienced graphic designer with over 15 years’ experience in financial services design. Colette’s career includes roles in-house and in creative agencies. She has experience in all aspects of design, from concept through to realisation, layout, artworking, print and digital media. Notable clients include Legal & General, The Abraaj Group, AlpInvest and BP.
Alexandra has been coaching senior executives of global companies for most of her career. With 27 years of international leadership experience across all disciplines of communications and public affairs, she is a valued mentor, advisor and trainer to leaders around the world on strategic communications, reputation building, leadership positioning, and stakeholder management.
Alexandra has spent most of her career with Dow Chemical, most recently as Senior Director of Public Affairs and Government Affairs. Alexandra is based in Switzerland and speaks English, German, and French fluently.
As our Operations Manager, Louise ensures the smooth co-ordination of all our training from the initial booking to post-session follow up. She works closely with our trainers, camera people and client contacts. She also manages our accounting and invoicing processes.
She has a background in departmental administration at the University of Oxford.
